ISO standards

ISO/IEC 13250 Part-3: XML Syntax was published as IS (International Standard) on March 15, 2007.

ISO/IEC 13250 Part-2: Data Model was published as IS (International Standard) on August 15, 2006.

Second version which added XTM (XML Topic Maps) was published in 2003.
(ISO/IEC 13250:2003 (Second Edition): Information technology -- SGML Applications -- Topic Maps)

Topic Maps became ISO standard in 2000.

At the Amsterdam meeting of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC34 on 22-26, May, 2005, standard creation work moved forward greatly. ( Refer to WG3 Recommendations of May 2005 Meeting - Amsterdam, The Netherlands.)

The following FCD (Final Committee Draft) standards vote was approved. These standards activity moved to the next FDIS (Final Draft of Internal Standard) stage.
